WebDec 3, 2014 · This is simply because of engine limitations. Morrowind doesn't support multiple cores. The modern effects MGE XE is simply DirectX 9 emulation and emulation=slow. OpenMW will change that. If you have the overhaul, that means you already tried code patch, exe optimizer and 4GB patch. The worst offender is distant lands.
